Will you travel to meet us for a photo session?
Absolutely, traveling and photographing in new locations is one of our favorite aspects of being a part of the photography industry.
What makes you different than your peers?
Our number one goal is to make sure you look fantastic! We have been known to wade in the water, crawl in the sand or hang from a tree to get that perfect shot. With an extensive background in choreography, stage production, directing and corporate marketing we have the unique ability like no other photographer to capture you at the perfect moment and highlight your best features.
We have to have you photograph us! How do we book?
Great! You will be officially booked as soon as a signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer of 30% is received. The retainer fee will be applied to your package balance. Send us your details and wishes and we will send back a formal agreement and more detailed FAQ including videos specific to prepare for your session.
What types of prints do you offer?
Just about anything you can imagine... countless sizes from wallets to billboards; every finish mate/gloss/luster/metal; and you can even purchase products featuring your photos in greeting cards, thank-you notes, invitations, and more. You, your family and friends can order and customize immediately through your gallery at Emotion Galleries and they will be delivered directly to your doorstep from one of the best printing houses in the nation.
Are digital files available?
There are options to include the high resolution digital negatives within your package. When purchased you will receive the images electronically, with reprint release rights for personal use.
Are albums available?
Albums are custom designed providing you with beautiful heirlooms to last a lifetime. The albums are produced through the finest printing and binding services in the industry. You can choose from various album sizes and countless cover options.
Are slideshows available?
Slideshows are one of our customers favorite product to add to their packages. Everyone loves them and they are perfect for our destination wedding couples to take home for their receptions. Use a slideshow as your wedding album portable on any smartphone, tablet, etc.
What are your prices?
Wedding and event collections begin at $1,200, with the average between $2,500 – $5,000. Engagement sessions, family and lifestyle sessions begin at $350 most spend between $500-$1500. Artist sessions (designers, musicians, dancers, models, etc.) are $500soloist/$1000group minimum with custom quotes based on the project and distribution. How many images will be posted in our gallery?
You determine the number of images in advance when booking your session. Images are selected and edited at the photographers' discretion. Rather than the amount of time or the number of photos taken during the sessions, it is the number of images that you request which is the primary factor that determines the price of your package. We strongly recommend less is more and quality is far more desirable than quantity.
The following are common: Wedding and event collections average between 40-60 images per hour - which approximately a photo per minute. Engagement, family and lifestyle sessions average between 12-25 images. Artist sessions should be highly styled averaging 5 photos per session.
How long does it take after the photo session to view our gallery?
The industry standard is 3-6 weeks after the session before your photos are posted in your gallery. We, however, typically beat the industry standard by a significant margin. The exception might be the high seasons of Dec-Jan and May-July at which time our turnaround times are consistent with the rest of the industry. If speed is important to you, we do offer a rush service 3 day turnaround for an additional fee of 50% of the base price, a 1 week turnaround for a 30% and 2 week guarantee for a 5%.
Are editing and post processing services available?
Yes, we are fluent in programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom and more. All images that we produce include basic editing such as exposure, color correction, balance, lens correction and cropping. Images are never released into a gallery without proper post production. The only exception is for our commercial clients who predetermine a post-process house in the booking contract. We offer advance editing for an hourly rate including but not limited to sunburn removal, body enhancements, alterations, text, landscape modification, compositing and art work. If you request editing files that we did not personally photograph we must be given a formal agreement from the photographer who did capture the original image or purchase stock photography.
Do you work with other photographers?
Yes, we love to collaborate and work with other professionals. Clarity is absolutely imperative when working with a team. Although you may hire two photographers you the client will correspond exclusively with the primary. The primary photographer will make all arrangements with a secondary. If you book through EMotionGalleries, Ranae Keane-Bamsey is the primary photographer. In reverse, Ranae often serves a secondary photographer or as artistic director for other professionals in the field. If you wish for Ranae to be your secondary photographer you must make that request of your primary photographer who will then contact EMotion Galleries.
